Remarkable Businesses Changing The World

This October, Republic of Change is uniting environmentally mindful celebrities, conscious consumers and visionary businesses to hack climate change.

Our Reality Today

Our Reality Today

Climate change is our greatest challenge and we're not doing enough to address it:

  • Policy makers are setting emission goals for 2100 - time we don't have
  • Renewable energy is a must but it doesn't remove CO2 already in the atmosphere
  • Many are concerned but few know what to do, so little or nothing gets done

Politicians and big corp have the means but not the incentive to solve climate change so little gets done. The small progress we do make reduces emissions but not the CO2 already in the atmosphere, so climate change continues unabated.

Time For Action

Time For Action

There's nothing new about climate change. It's just getting worse very fast. This past March, for the first time since record keeping, global CO2 concentration hit 400 ppm.

This milestone is a reminder that we're well past the upper safe limit of 350 ppm and that we're setting ourselves up to win the Darwin award if we don't take action now.

Make The World Cool Again

Make The World Cool Again

The UN, NASA, NOAA and practically all climate scientists agree that the easiest ways to combat climate change is to sequester CO2 from the atmosphere by planting trees.

Right now, we're losing 72,000 soccer fields worth of trees every single day, exacerbating climate change. That's why we urgently need to reforest the world.

Together We Can

Together We Can

We simply cannot wait for politicians or big corp to take action. That's why we, the people, are coming together and taking on humanity's greatest challenge.

We're uniting celebrities, people and businesses - anyone interested in making change happen, to hack climate change by planting trees.

Bigger Than People's Climate March

Bigger Than People's Climate March

On September 2014, 400,000 people marched the streets of New York demanding politicians take action on climate change. It's the largest action on climate change to date.

We're not interested in marching, demonstrating or protesting to politicians in the pockets of the billionaire class. We're interested in making meaningful change happen.

That's why this October 6th, we're launching a 30-day crowdfunding campaign to plant 1,000,000 trees. At $1/tree, every one of the 800,000 expected visitors can join.

1,000,000 trees won't solve climate change but it'll prove we can, it'll sequester 50,000 tons of CO2 and it'll kick start this important action-based movement.

Our implementing partners have planted 157,000,000 trees to date so we have the experience and the seedlings. All we need is your participation.

Everyone can participate with a starting pledge of one dollar to plant one tree. But twelve entrepreneurs pledging $5,000 to plant 6,000 trees will also get to share their ideas about driving positive change in our upcoming feature-length documentary.

The Documentary

The Documentary

Our planned feature-length film will tell the story of the cultural revolution taking place to create a healthier, more sustainable and prosperous world.

Through a series of interviews, the film will document the stories of pioneers driving the sharing economy, the organic movement, social enterprise and renewable energy; new, highly profitable business models that put people and planet first.

The film explores human stories behind social capitalism: entrepreneurs making a profit to exist but existing to serve a higher purpose - improving the human experience.
